Growing Season

The Life of a Migrant Community

Gary Harwood and David Hassler will be visiting Otterbein College as part of this year’s Common Book Program, presented by the Thomas Academic Excellence Series. Photographs by Harwood, and text by Hassler came together to tell the stories of a migrant labor camp in Hartville, Ohio. The photographs are on display now at the library, on the first and lower level floors.

They will both be on campus Tuesday, October 2, with a public discussion, including a slide show at 7pm in the Chapel.

If you would like to schedule a classroom visit during the day of October 2, please let Kate Porubcansky know as soon as possible. kporubcansky@otterbein.edu
