Starting Tuesday Sept 22nd at 9AM it opens to Otterbein then the next morning (7:45AM) it opens to the community. Hard back books go for 1 dollar and paperbacks are 50 cents. I randomly pulled 3 books - Fighting Mountaineers: The Struggle for Justice in the Appalachians by Edwin D. Hoffman (1979), My Parents are Divorced, too by Bonnie Robson, MD (1980), and The Cookbook of the United Nations (To Serve Man) compiled by Barbara Kraus (1964). All these and more will be available. So come early, come often, and buy up these books to support the scholarships for the Torch and Key Honor Society.Allen Reicherthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09100349096268263571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917792.post-51032336162427906972009-09-14T10:30:00.000-07:002009-09-14T10:36:58.262-07:00Welcome to all new students!Last Friday was orientation as we welcomed new students to the college, showed them the library, and introduced them to the great resources available through the library. Which television show will be added to the shelves, to sit beside Grey's Anatomy and The Office? As you can see from the bracket, none of the contests from the first round were close - House crushed Gilmore Girls with 78% of the vote, while the closest was John and Kate plus 8 with a comfortable 23 vote victory over Six Feet Under. But of course, that was last round! Will the final feature the two juggernauts House vs Family Guy as projected, or will a dark horse emerge? It is all up to you.

The second round of the survey will go until high noon on Wednesday April 8th.
http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB228XPM53Y28Allen Reicherthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09100349096268263571noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7917792.post-60817667398509840742009-03-18T10:41:00.000-07:002009-03-18T11:11:08.577-07:00DVD Tournament postponedRound one of voting has ended for the DVD March Madness tournament.
