Classical Music down for a few days

On Monday and Tuesday, 18 and 19 July, we’re implementing a major upgrade to our music services. There will be no access to Classical Music Library on July 18th and 19th.

The service on July 20th, 21st, and 22nd will be normal for most customers and irregular for some others.

This is not a typical service maintenance, but rather a major overhaul and upgrade. When it’s complete, you’ll have faster service and improved functionality, and the new Smithsonian Global Sound will be live for subscribers soon after.

Please let us know if there are any problems with Classical after July 23rd.
