And the March Madness winner is...

The winner, by 10 votes (195 to 185) is Grey's Anatomy! The library will purchase all available seasons on DVD and will add this show to our collection. I hope everyone enjoyed the contest. Let us know what you thought about it. Either post a comment to this entry, or IM the library (screenname: otterbeinlibrary )

Personally, I was a bit surprised by the results, particularly how far House went in the tournament. When putting the bracket together I didn't know if you would vote for shows that you wanted to watch but couldn't (such as on HBO) or if you would vote for favorite shows. Favorite shows won easily - and for this year it is Grey's Anatomy.

Library displays

There are a number of new displays in the library. On the first floor is the GLBTQ/Freezone display. Also, there is a display of Yoruba art from the college's permanent collection. Also, up on the second floor is a selection of materials purchased in connection with Erin McKenzie.

Final Four - March Madness Library Style

We are down to the Final Four: CSI (original Series) is going up against House, while the other match sees Friends vs Grey's Anatomy. Want to see how close Scrubs came to beating House? Check out the Final Four Tournament bracket. Voting will end Wednesday April 4th at high noon. Oh, and if you have enjoyed this tournament (or if you haven't) IM us at otterbeinlibrary. We'd like to know if this should be an annual event, or if you found the multiple surveys tedious.
